About Us

Snoqualmie is approximately 25 miles east of Seattle. Snoqualmie is most famous as the home of Snoqualmie Falls, a world-renown waterfall that cascades 268 feet over granite cliffs.

The City of Snoqualmie government, including the Mayor, City Council, Administration, and departments serve 13,110 residents (as of 2018), many small businesses and larger corporations with a full range of services including police, fire, emergency, building, planning, public works, and other government services that make our community a great place to work, live, and play. Snoqualmie consistently ranks in the top 10 safest places to live in Washington State.

Outdoor recreation is abundant with more than 40 parks, 30+ miles of maintained trails, sports facilities, fishing, kayaking, golf, and more. Enjoy 540 acres of open space at Meadowbrook Farm and 8 acres of open space at the Three Forks Off-Leash Dog Park. Another 25 miles east, you'll find downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and tubing.

Snoqualmie has many one-of-a-kind attractions you won't find anywhere else including the Northwest Railway Museum, Historic Downtown Snoqualmie, Snoqualmie Ridge, unique shops, and more than 35 restaurants for all tastes. The Snoqualmie Valley Train offers train excursions through rural countryside from the Historic Snoqualmie Depot to the city of North Bend. There are special events throughout the year including Railroad Days Festival & Parade, Boeing Classic PGA Champions Tour, Art & Wine Walks, live music, live theatre, and other exciting activities for all ages.
