Yearning to learn how to hone the craft of creating delicious yet simple French fare? In this workshop, Jean Philippe (JP), a local, but certifiably French bread enthusiast, will teach us the techniques of baking peasant bread in cast iron cookware! As our bread bakes we’ll savor a pre-baked loaf and transition to prep and cook a Paté aux pommes de terre. This tasty, simple dish from Bourbonnais (a region in central France) consists of potatoes, onions, and parsley; baked en croute with heavy whipping cream added at the end. Both recipes are absolutely easy and will delight your guests in the future. Join us for a fun, French evening where we bake, learn, enjoy noshes and nibbles, and each other’s company.
