City Above the Falls

Snoqualmie is famous for the natural wonder of Snoqualmie Falls, a breathtaking waterfall cascading 268 feet over granite cliffs. Also the Northwest Railway Museum and is Home of The Boeing Classic.

Snoqualmie is also known for a high quality of life, an emphasis on public safety, environmental sustainability, and economic growth. These elements come together to serve Snoqualmie’s residents, business owners and their employees, and more than two million tourists who visit Snoqualmie each year.

As the fastest growing city in Washington for many years, Snoqualmie has more than 13,000 residents. Census data shows 35 percent of the Snoqualmie population is 18 years of age and under, the highest youth-to-adult ratio in King County. To that end, the city is highly supportive of school district initiatives, new and expanded parks facilities, youth programs, and local human services organizations.

With 41 parks and more than 30 miles of trails, Snoqualmie offers open spaces, athletic fields. Sports courts, tennis courts, play equipment for all ages, picnic shelters, barbecues, and event facilities. Among its notable parks are Centennial Fields, Snoqualmie Community Park, Jeanne Hansen Community Park, and the Three Forks Off-Leash Dog Park.

Snoqualmie has many events throughout the year, including Snoqualmie Railroad Days; Movies and Music in the Park; Finally Art and Wine Walks; Red, White and Boom Fireworks; and the Tree Lighting Festival.

Historic Snoqualmie Depot

Historic Snoqualmie Depot Originally built in 1890, the Snoqualmie Depot has been restored to its turn-of-the-20th Century grandeur and functions as an operating train station. Visitors traveling on the Snoqualmie Valley Railroad can purchase boarding passes at the original ticket window and view the railroad history exhibits. Visit the gift shop and bookstore. The Snoqualmie Depot is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a City of Snoqualmie and King County Landmark. More Info

Northwest Railway Museum

The largest and oldest continuously operating railway museum in Washington State welcomes over 88,000 visitors yearly to its historic depot and 7 ½ acre developing Railway History Center. The museum’s collection of railway artifacts and equipment is one of the most significant in the United States and includes over 70 examples of locomotives, passenger and freight cars, and specialized railway equipment. Snoqualmie Point Park

An 8-acre park that offers one of the region’s grandest views of the Snoqualmie Valley, Mount  Si, and the Cascade Mountain Range all the way to Mount Baker. It is an excellent venue for outdoor concerts, weddings, company picnics, and family reunions. It also provides access to the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail. The Snoqualmie Point Park lower parking lot is free and the upper parking lot requires a Discover Pass because it is the trailhead to the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail.   More Info
