Q: What are the local festivals in the area and when are they?
A: The area events are updated regularly by going to our Events
page. The three city-wide festivals that happen in the summer: Alpine
Days (North Bend), Railroad Days (Snoqualmie), and Fall City Days (Fall City) all feature parades,
contests, kids' activities, and vendor booths, plus their own special activities.
Q: Where can I get information on Snoqualmie Falls?

Q: Is there a visitor's center that I can go to when I arrive?
A: Yes! Stop by the Chamber's Visitor's Center in North Bend to get all kinds of brochures,
maps and information. The Visitor's Center is open and staffed from 10 AM - 6 PM, Monday - Sunday,
Memorial Day thru Labor Day.
Q: When does the train run? Where does it go? How much is it?
A: The Northwest Train Museum in Snoqualmie has a great Web
site with all the information you need to have a great visit to our area.
Q: I'm interested in the history of the Snoqualmie Valley, what can you tell me?
A: Visit our Local History page. For even more information, see the

Q: I'm coming to your area in the winter and want information on outdoor recreation.
What can you tell me about equipment rentals and accommodations that are near the snow?
A: Our Recreation site has information on outdoor activities,
including skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, etc.
Q: I'm moving to your area soon. Can you give me demographic information, including housing
prices, cost of living, average rainfall, quality of schools, etc?
A: Check out the Moving Here section of the Web site. And welcome
to the Valley! We can also snail mail you a hard copy of our Chamber Directory which lists all the businesses,
as well as descriptions of each town in the area. E-mail info@snovalley.org with your name and address and
we'll send it out shortly.
Q: I am planning on opening a business in your area, can you give me business demographics?
A: Broad information you need can be found on the Starting a Business
page of the Web site. For more specific information, check out the regulations and contact information
on the City sites of North Bend and Snoqualmie.
Fall City and Preston are not incorporated, so they fall
under the regulations of King County.
Q: Where can I rent space for a meeting?
A: Many restaurants can
accommodate meal-related meetings:
- The Pizza Place has a long table in the back of the restaurant that can reserved for meetings.
- The North Bend Bar and Grill has a back area that you can reserve
- Robertiello's has a lounge that can set up a large table
- The Restaurant at Mt. Si Golf Course can handle large parties
on their deck or inside
- The Salish Lodge has rooms for more upscale gatherings

- The Train Depot in North Bend, which fits up to 55 people. Call the City of North Bend at 425.888.1211
to reserve.
- The Si View Community Center in North Bend, which fits up to 25 people. Call 425.831.1900 and leave a message.
- The Senior Center in North Bend, call 425.888.3434 to reserve.

Preston Community Center 8625 310th Ave SE, Preston.
This historic log building features an expansive multipurpose room with a raised stage, a fireplace and a kitchen. A small
park surrounds the center. Please call 206.205.5275 for more information.
- Cedar River Watershed Education Center has two rental spaces: the
Auditorium and the Meeting Room. The Auditorium can accommodate large or small groups,
has a fully equipped kitchen, sound system, motorized screen, slide and overhead projectors as well
as ports for Internet and phone access. Seats approximately 80 people at tables or 120 in rows.
Maximum standing capacity is 176.

- St. Clare's Episcopal Church, 8650 Railroad Ave, Snoqualmie has space for rent (fees are negotiable
depending on amount of space needed). Two rooms are available as well as a full kitchen,
